Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Clifton Police Chief Mark Centurion announced that at approximately 4:35 p.m., on Saturday, police responded to the westbound lanes of Route 3 at the intersection of Route 21 in Clifton in response to a single vehicle motor vehicle crash into a guardrail.
Police say the driver of a Nissan Altima, Ms. Elizabeth Berdejo, 29, of Passaic was pronounced dead a short time later.
According to police, no other injuries were reported.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
