Police are investigating a fatal shooting in Pleasantville, Acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Diane Ruberton announced.
Pleasantville Police responded to the intersection of North Main Street and Leeds Avenue, at approximately 10:42 p.m.
in response to a 9-1-1 call reporting shots fired.
Upon arrival, police found Ruben Reyes, 28, of Atlantic City, the apparent victim of a shooting.
Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit detectives also responded to the scene.
Reyes was pronounced dead at the scene.
Next-of-kin have been notified. An autopsy is pending.
