Newark Police are investigating a stabbing incident that left a person injured early Sunday morning.
Authorities responded to reports of an injured individual in the 20 block of Park Avenue at approximately 3:20 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers discovered an unidentified victim suffering from multiple stab wounds.
EMS crews provided immediate medical treatment at the scene before transporting the victim to a local hospital.
Reports indicate the victim sustained three stab wounds, though their current condition has not been disclosed.
Police have not yet released details regarding the circumstances surrounding the attack, and no arrests have been made as of now.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
