Authorities in East Orange are investigating a violent shooting that occurred early Friday morning.
According to preliminary reports, police were dispatched to the area of 125 South Harrison Street around 3:30 a.m. after receiving reports of gunfire.
Upon arrival, officers found a victim suffering from gunshot wounds.
The injured individual was transported to a nearby hospital, though their condition has not yet been confirmed.
Police have not released further details regarding the shooting or a possible motive.
