An overnight stabbing that occurred near a Cherry Hill nightclub has police investigating.
According to preliminary reports, the incident happened in the 2300 block of Marlton Pike just before 3:15 a.m. where police were alerted to a stabbing with injuries near the Vera Night Club.
Upon arrival, police found a male victim suffering a non-life threatening stab wound to the back.
The victim was transported to Cooper Medical Center where doctors treated his injury then listed him in stable condition.
There were reports of at least one other person injured at that location and arrived at the hospital by private vehicle suffering non-life threatening injuries.
The motive for the stabbing was not released by police.
