An armed robbery that occured near a Dunkin Donuts in Roselle has authorities searching for a suspect.
The incident was reported at around 11:15 p.m. in the 1000 block of Wood Avenue when police were called to the scene on reports of a robbery in progress according to reports.
Units arrived to the scene and were approached by the victim who told them that shortly before they arrived, a black male suspect approached armed with a gun and demanded personal possessions.
The suspect reportedly took a cell phone and an undetermined amount of cash before he fled the scene in what appeared to be a dark colored SUV.
There were no physical injuries reported or arrests made.
