Police in Jersey City are investigating two separate overnight robberies that caused injuries to one victim in the city.
Officers were called to the vicinity of Martin Luther King Drive and Orient Avenue after they received reports of a robbery in progress.
Upon their arrival, police requested EMS after finding a female victim suffering non-life threatening injuries when a male suspect began to attack her during a robbery according to reports.
A short time later, police began to investigate a second robbery that had a suspect fitting the same description take personal possessions from the victim using a weapon.
Police are investigating both incidents as the suspect remains at-large.
