Police Identify Victims of Fatal Atlantic City Expressway Crash in Hamilton

Police identify victims killed in Atlantic City Expressway crash Friday afternoon.

According to police, a 35-year-old Egg Harbor Township man, driving a 2003 Jeep Liberty, lost control of the vehicle crashing into a 2003 BMW that was stopped on the shoulder of the Atlantic City Expressway at approximately 1:29 p.m.

Upon arrival, the Jeep driver - later identified as Sean McBride - and passenger -Gabrielle Lynnes, 31, of Marmora - were being removed from the Jeep, which had caught fire, according to police.

The driver of the BMW -- Scott Lerario, 38, of Linwood -- was struck by the Jeep as he stood outside the vehicle while changing a tire.

Police said McBride, Lynnes, and Lerario were all transported to AtlantiCare Medical Center while McBride and Lynnes succumbed to their injuries at the hospital, while Lerario was listed in stable condition.

Crash remains under investigation.
