Newark – Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn A. Murray and Acting Irvington Police Director Musa Malik announced today that the Irvington Police Department and the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide/Major Crimes Task Force are investigating the fatal shooting of Sean Meadows, 21, of Irvington.
Yesterday, Meadows was shot in the 900 block of Grove Street in Irvington at approximately 10:25 p.m. He was pronounced dead at Beth Israel Hospital in Newark at 11:00 p.m. yesterday.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
At this time, no arrests have been made and no suspects have been identified.
