Suspects are wanted for an armed carjacking in Newark's lower West Ward on Tuesday.
It happened around 9:37 p.m. in the 100 block of Roseville Avenue.
When officers arrived, they were made aware that two armed suspects pointed a gun at the victim and took their black Dodge Charger with reported Pennsylvania license plate number "LKL-4592.
Police canvassing parts of the city came across the suspect and attempted to pull it over in several locations, including on NJ-21 and 3rd Avenue.
The suspects sped their way onto the westbound lanes of I-280, where Newark Police terminated the pursuit.
NJ State Police were notified of the incident and the suspects remain at large.
