There are non-life threatening injuries reported for a prisoner that occupied a police vehicle involved in a squad car crash in Newark.
The early morning crash happened at around 4:30 a.m. in the area of Clinton Avenue and Hunterdon Street sending rescue crews to the scene according to reports.
EMS transported the unidentified victim to University Hospital in stable condition.
There were no serious injuries reported to police officers.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
