EMS transported two NJ Transit Police officers to an area hospital for evaluations after their cruiser was involved in a crash overnight.
Emergency responders were called to East 22nd Street near the Light Rail Station after they received reports of a crash with injuries reported.
Rescue crews arrived to find a damaged police car with the airbag deployed at that location.
The officers did not suffer serious injuries, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
