The Linden Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying and locating a suspect wanted in an armed robbery.
According to police, officers responded to A1 Deli & Subs, located at 1004 Roselle Street, Wednesday just after 11 a.m. for a report of an armed robbery.
The suspect entered the store, pulled out a black handgun, and ordered the store employee to the ground. Then he took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and fled north on Roselle Street police said.
Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect, described as a 20-25-year-old black male, approximately 5’3”-5’5” wearing a green hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans, shown in the attached picture.
