Police officials in Newark are reporting the arrest of two Newark men - Mr. Kocou
Anani, 21, Mr. Davion Davis, 21 - and a Newark juvenile for a robbery that occurred April 24, 2021.
According to a statement released by Police, officers responded to a call of shots fired around 6:04 p.m. in the 600 block of Summer Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers learned that the three suspects were attempting to rob a male victim.
Police said during the incident, the juvenile suspect suffered a gunshot wound from one of the other two suspects.
Anani and Davis were also charged with aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a weapon.
These charges are merely accusations.
The suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
