Police in Jersey City took a man into custody who they found with a loaded weapon in a section of the city Saturday morning.
According to a preliminary investigation, police found the suspects after they received reports of an armed man in the 200 block of Dwight Street just before 12:10 a.m.
Police say they believe the suspect is wanted for a shots-fired incident that occurred in the vicinity of 183 Martin Luther King Drive shortly before he was arrested.
There were no injuries reported.
