Officials announced the arrest of Jamil B. Lewis wanted for ensuing a foot pursuit in Franklin Township.
According to authorities, on June 13th, Jamil B. Lewis, was apprehended and ultimately remanded to the Somerset County Jail. Police charged Lewis with Unlicensed Entry of Structures, Resisting Arrest, Hindering Apprehension and Obstructing the Administration of Law.
Officials say on May 25th, Lewis fled from officers after the vehicle he was in was stopped by an officer. Police say Lewis entered the school through an open side door, locking out the pursuing officers.
As is the case with all criminal defendants, the charges against the defendant are merely accusations and he or she is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
