A city teen was arrested this morning after police found him carrying a handgun blocks away from a reported shooting in Jersey City, police said.

Officers responded to the area of Crescent and Brinkerhoff Avenues for a report of shots fired sometime around 1:35 a.m.

According to a witness, at least three gun shots were fired and then he claims seeing four young men running east on Brinkerhoff Avenue.
