Authorities have arrested and charged substitute teacher, Zachary A. Smith, 24, for possessing and distributing explicit images of minors.
Authorities said Smith, of Elmwood Park, is charged with endangering the welfare of a child after police searched his house and found videos of child sexual exploitation.
Police say he used the Internet to access, view and share sexually explicit videos of prepubescent and pubescent females,
Smith's place of work has not been released and as per his bond and condition of bail, he cannot have unsupervised contact with children and must surrender his passport, police say.
He is expected to appear in Bergen County Central Judicial Processing Court on December 7.
