Today, in Newark and the North Jersey region, residents are enjoying another beautiful day, although it's slightly cooler compared to yesterday.
Early morning temperatures were recorded at 56 degrees in Newark as of 4:30 a.m..
The National Weather Service reports sunny skies today with a high near 71 degrees, accompanied by a northwest wind blowing at 7 to 10 mph and gusts reaching up to 20 mph.
However, the weather is set to take a turn on Wednesday. Temperatures will drop to the 60s, and the region can expect rain beginning mainly after 5 p.m..
The day will start with increasing cloudiness, setting the stage for the anticipated showers.
Tonight, NWS forecasters say the skies will remain partly cloudy with lows around 48 degrees, providing a mild night before the wet weather arrives.
Residents should enjoy the sun while it lasts on this pleasant Tuesday and prepare for the upcoming change in weather conditions that will bring cooler temperatures and rainfall to the area.
