Light rain is possible in parts of Sussex County, but a washout is definitely not expected.
The National Weather Service is forecasting that today will be mostly sunny, with a high nearing 62 degrees.
A north wind at 5 to 9 mph is expected to shift southeast in the afternoon, maintaining pleasant conditions throughout the day.
However, NWS meteorologists say the weather might take a slight turn tonight, with a 30 percent chance of showers after 2 a.m. and clouds increasing as temperatures dip to around 48 degrees.
