From Playgrounds to Purpose invites the community to their 2nd Annual Backpack Drive during the "Meet & Greet" event.
The event, which is scheduled for September 6th at 5 p.m., is held at The Newark Public Library, located at 50 Hayes Street, in Newark.
From Playgrounds to Purpose, a mentoring program developed and founded in Newark, focuses on middle-school girls between the ages of 10 and 14.
The programs hope to provide support in coping with the changes that are happening in their lives all while becoming a light in the lives of these girls which will inspire and enable them to pursue their life’s purpose.
