A shooting that sent a man to the hospital overnight in Plainfield is under investigation.
Police say on April 3, at approximately 12:55 am, Plainfield Police units responded to a ShotSpotter activation in the 400 block of East 6th Street.
Officers arriving at the scene found three adult males walking from the area.
According to police, a further investigation revealed, that a 35-year-old male from Plainfield was struck by gunfire.
This male was taken to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Police say all three men are extremely uncooperative with the investigation at this time.
