An afternoon shooting in Plainfield left a 24-year-old Newark man injured and police investigating.
Police responded to the 500 block of 4th Street around 1:30 p.m. for a reported shooting with one wounded.
Upon arrival, the uncooperative victim, was transported to an area hospital for treatment. According to police, he is in stable condition.
Investigators established a crime scene and are investigating incident.
