Police want to remind residents to lock your car doors. Last week during the early morning hours of Jan. 12th an unlocked motor vehicle on Briarheath Lane was burglarized, and the owner’s wallet was taken.
Authorities said a short time later, a Willow Way, resident, reported confronting a masked male in the driveway at 4 am who was attempting to get into the cars parked in the driveway. The man fled in a nearby vehicle before police arrived.
The wallet stolen during the earlier vehicle burglary was ultimately found on the front lawn.
