A traffic stop in Mount Laurel ended NJ State Police arresting a Plainfield man for possession of cash and cocaine.
Police say on Sunday, May 5, at 3:04 a.m., Trooper Kyle Morley stopped Hernandez-Pacheco for a traffic violation southbound on the New Jersey Turnpike at milepost 39.5 in Mount Laurel Township.
State Police officials said during the stop, Tpr. Morley determined Hernandez-Pacheco was under the influence and arrested him for DWI. After further investigation, Tpr. Morley discovered Hernandez-Pacheco was in possession of $600 worth of cocaine.
Police charged Carlos Hernandez-Pacheco with possession cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, and DWI. Officials say he was released pending a future court date.
Charges are mere accusations and the accused is considered innocent until proven guilty.
