An overnight shooting that injured two people in Plainfield is under investigation.
According to authorities, at approximately 8:45 pm last night, officers responded to the teens block of Everett Place after receiving calls of shots fired.
Upon arrival units found evidence of a shooting, but no victim(s) were located authorities said.
Authorities said, shortly thereafter, the Police Division was contacted by an area hospital that an adult male victim had arrived with a non-life threatening injury.
Authorities aid just minutes after that, they were advised that a second adult male victim had arrived at another area hospital, also suffering non-life threatening gunshot injuries.
Both individuals remain hospitalized and are in stable condition at this time.
The motive is unclear at this time as City Detectives are still investigating.
