We are waking up to a comfortably cool but dry and beautiful Saturday morning in Newark and the North Jersey region.
Today is shaping up to be a gorgeous day. It is currently 63 degrees as the sun rose around 5:53 a.m.
Though it's a bit cool now, it will warm up and become picture-perfect for outdoor activities.
According to the National Weather Service, today will be mostly sunny with a high near 81 degrees and a west wind blowing at 7 to 15 mph.
Tonight will be partly cloudy, with a low around 65 degrees and a west wind at 3 to 8 mph.
