Yesterday evening, hundreds of residents from the far reaches of the Township of Union gathered to celebrate National Night Out at Police Headquarters on Caldwell Avenue.
The celebration included a community picnic, tours of police headquarters, games, music, family activities, demonstrations and more.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live.
It culminates annually on the first Tuesday in August bringing together neighbors from across thousands of communities from all 50 states, United States territories, Canadian cities, and military bases worldwide.
