Fatima Gadson, 34, who also goes by the name Samantha Johnson, entered a guilty plea before Judge Joseph Levin, J.S.C., to third-degree terroristic threats, third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and third-degree aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer.

As part of a plea agreement, prosecutors have recommended a sentence of three years in New Jersey State Prison.

The charges stem from two separate confrontations involving Gadson. The first incident occurred on June 6, 2023, when Atlantic City Police responded to a call at The Claridge Hotel.

Gadson was accused of threatening a security guard with a knife. She was taken into custody shortly after officers arrived and was found in possession of the weapon.

The security guard was not injured.

The second incident took place on August 20, 2024, on the Atlantic City Boardwalk. Police say Gadson became involved in a heated dispute with a store owner at 2519 Boardwalk, during which she allegedly threatened to kill the victim while waving what appeared to be a handgun.

Officers quickly apprehended her, and the weapon was later determined to be a replica.

Gadson is scheduled to be sentenced on August 29, 2025.
