Police in Newark seek the public’s help in identifying several persons of interest in connection with a shooting that occurred on Friday, August 7.
Police say at approximately 4:45 a.m., police responded to the 200 block of Chadwick Avenue on a call of shots fired.
According to police, a woman arrived at University Hospital for treatment and is in critical condition.
Detectives investigating this incident have captured photos of three persons of interest wanted for questioning in this incident and seek the public’s help in quickly identifying them as part of this investigation.
These individuals are known to frequent Chadwick Avenue and West Runyon Street.
The individual in Photo #1 below is described as a heavyset black male, wearing a North Face two-toned sweater/jacket, black pants, black footwear and has a distinctive walk, as if bow legged.
