EMS Transported the victim of a violent assault to University Hospital after the unidentified person was struck in the head with a bottle in Newark Sunday morning.
Police say the early morning attack happened at approximately 3:10 a.m. in the vicinity of The Rincon Centro Americano Night Club located at 250 Park Avenue.
Units arrived and found the male victim bleeding after someone smashed him in the head with a bottle according to reports.
Doctors treated the man's non-life threatening injury then released him from the hospital.
The motive for the attack remains under investigation.
