Rahway Police responded to the scene of a shooting Tuesday evening, discovering a wounded individual at a gas station in the city.
The incident occurred around 7:20 p.m. in the northbound lanes of US-1 near East Grand Avenue at the Exxon gas station.
Upon arriving, officers located the victim and immediately requested EMS.
The individual was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment as of 2 a.m. Wednesday, no fatalities have been reported.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation, and no further details have been released at this time.
