Passaic County authorities have not reported suspicious circumstances behind an incident where a person was found dead under a bridge in Paterson on Tuesday evening.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the vicinity of Spruce Street and McBride Avenue after receiving reports of a possibly injured person.
Units arrived at the scene and found an unconscious, unresponsive and unidentified person under a bridge at that location.
Medical personnel pronounced the individual dead at the scene according to reports.
The incident is under investigation by Paterson Police.
There were no reports of foul play
