A Pennsauken Township juvenile is in the hospital following a near-drowning on Saturday evening.
According to preliminary reports from police, the child was found in a pool at a home on Sheppard Road.
Officials say the child was last seen just before 6:30 p.m and when fire rescue arrived, they found him the bottom of the pool.
Police say it’s not known how long he was in the pool, but EMS immediately began CPR and took him to Cooper University Hospital, where doctors were able to get a pulse.
The incident remains under investigation.
