EMS transported a male to the hospital suffering non-fatal injuries after a vehicle struck him on an East Orange street.
Police were called to the intersection of Halsted Street and Central Avenue at around 8:20 p.m. to investigate a report of an injured person.
Units arriving at the scene found the alert and conscious victim suffering injuries after a vehicle struck him shortly before officer's their arrival.
The driver of the vehicle reportedly stayed at the scene, and the incident remains under investigation.
