Police in Burlington are investigating an incident where a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in overnight causing serious injuries.
Emergency responders found the victim laying on the ground in the southbound lanes of Rt. 130 near Columbus Road shortly before 11:25 p.m. according to reports.
The victim was transported to an area hospital while police closed off several lanes on the roadway for the accident investigation.
The official cause has not been determined at this time.
