In Bergen County, emergency responders rushed to a scene in Fairview following an accident where a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle.
The incident occurred in the vicinity of Sedore Avenue and Greeley Avenue shortly before 8:15 p.m.
Upon arrival, police and emergency medical services found the victim, who had sustained non-fatal injuries from the collision.
The individual was promptly transported to Hackensack University Medical Center for treatment. Fortunately, the victim is expected to make a full recovery.
The circumstances leading to this accident are currently under investigation as authorities work to understand the cause of the crash.
