Burlington County officials are investigating a serious pedestrian accident that left one person in life-threatening condition early Saturday morning.
The incident occurred just before midnight near the intersection of US-206 and Connector Road in Bordentown.
Police and emergency medical personnel responded to the scene and found an unconscious, unidentified individual lying on the ground after being struck by a vehicle.
The victim was rushed to the hospital, where their condition has been described as severe.
