There were non-life threatening injuries reported for a pedestrian struck by a vehicle in Newark's downtown on Monday evening.
According to police, emergency responders rushed to the intersection of Edison Place and Mulberry Street to investigate reports of a person struck by a van at approximately 6:32 p.m.
Upon arrival, police found the unidentified victim suffering injuries after a car struck them at that location then drove away.
Police say a white or grey colored van with PA license plates struck the victim then kept going.
According to police, the victim is expected to make a full recovery.
