Jersey City Police are investigating a pedestrian strike that occurred in a section of the city Thursday night.
Police say the incident happened at approximately 9 p.m. at the intersection of JFK Boulevard and Montgomery Street.
Emergency responders arrived to find the victim suffering serious but non-life threatening injuries at that location.
EMS transported the injured to Jersey City Medical Center where doctors treated the victim's leg injury according to reports.
Police say the driver occupying a Honda Odyssey left the scene.
