A person struck by a car at a location in Roselle Park was transported to University Hospital in Newark suffering serious injuries on Friday night.
According to reports, police received reports of a pedestrian a strike that happened in the 100 block of Westfield Avenue at approximately 11:40 p.m.
Units arrived at the scene found the injured victim and the driver of the car at that location. The victim's injuries were not immediately reported as life-threatening.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
