A pedestrian was left with severe injuries after being struck by a vehicle on a busy roadway in Paterson on Friday evening.
The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. near 1040 Main Street.
Police responded to the scene after receiving reports of an injured individual.
Upon arrival, officers found the victim bleeding heavily from the collision and immediately requested EMS.
The pedestrian was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital for treatment and remains in serious condition.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
