New Brunswick was the scene of a crash on Tuesday night as emergency responders rushed to the intersection of New Street and George Street following a pedestrian being struck by a bus.
At around 7:15 p.m., the victim was hit and briefly trapped under the bus before firefighters skillfully extricated them.
The injured individual, who remains unidentified, was immediately transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Investigators from the New Brunswick Police Department are looking into the circumstances surrounding the accident. No other injuries were reported.
