A pedestrian was rushed to the hospital early Saturday morning after being struck by a vehicle in Paterson.
The incident occurred around 4 a.m. near the intersection of Carroll Street and Godwin Avenue.
Police arrived at the scene to find a vehicle that had collided with a parked car, and a pedestrian lying on the ground with serious injuries.
Emergency responders transported the injured individual to St. Joseph's Medical Center, where they are currently listed in serious condition.
The cause of the crash has not yet been determined, and police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
No further details have been released at this time.
