A pedestrian fatally struck by a vehicle in Elizabeth has authorities investigating.
The incident happened near the intersection of South Park Street and 5th Street at around 3:30 a.m. when emergency responders arrived to the scene to find the unconscious and unresponsive victim at that location.
Medics reportedly pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
The identity or the gender of the victim has not been released at this time.
