One person was pronounced dead after a car struck the victim on Route 70 in Cherry Hill on Saturday night.
According to a preliminary investigation, police responded to reports of an injured person on Route 70 near Marlkress Road at approximately 9:20 p.m. where they arrived to find the severely injured unidentified victim at that location.
Medical personnel pronounced the person dead at the scene according to reports.
Police closed off a portion of NJ-70 for the investigation.
There were no other injuries reported.
