Newark Police are investigating a person struck by a vehicle in a city neighborhood Wednesday night.
At approximately 9:25 p.m., police and EMS responded to reports of a person injured near the intersection of Nesbitt and Orange streets.
Upon arrival, crews found a male suffering non-life-threatening injuries after a car struck him at that location.
The victim was transported to University Hospital for treatment and is expected to recover.
The incident remains under investigation, and no other injuries were reported.
