Authorities in Livingston are investgiating a pedestrian strike that left the victim injured and the driver of the car leaving the scene of the accident.
Police say the incident occurred at approximately 10:25 p.m. in the vicinity of 618 South Livingston Avenue where the driver of a black or dark-colored Dodge Ram struck the pedestrian the drove away from the scene.
EMS transported the victim to the hospital suffering a non-fatal are and leg injuries.
Police say the victim is expected to survive.
