Authorities in Camden County are investgiating a pedestrian strike that killed a person in West Berlin on Sunday morning.
Officials said in a preliminary report that at approximately 1:45 a.m., police were called to the vicinity of 535 NJ-73 to investigate a pedestrian strike that occurred at that location.
Police and EMS arrived to find the severely injured person lying on the ground after a vehicle struck them according to reports.
The unidentified victim was reportedly pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
