An investigation us underway into a fatal train strike that happened in Jersey City overnight.
First responders rushed to the tunnels of the Grove Street Station at around 12:30 a.m. on reports of a person down and possibly struck by Path Train.
Crews arriving to the scene located one person fatally struck at that location.
PATH officials temporarily suspended service in both direction for the police investigation.
The idendentity of the victim has not been released at this time.
